Research

Nina Timofeyeva is a third year biopsychology student. She is assisting James Elliott in studies looking at the impacts of meditation and exposure to nature on cognitive performance and affect. She is also helping Elliott Ihm with validation of the Mystical Experience Questionnaire and a study examining the effects of participation in the Santo Daime ayahuasca ceremony. She is most interested in studying psychedelics and mystical experiences, and their effects on cognition, mental health, and personal growth.
