Research

Paul is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University, where he directs the Mind at Large Lab. He is also a neo-expressionist artist and a musician. Paul's research investigates consciousness in its various forms, with a primary focus mind wandering, psychedelics, creativity, and their interactions.
