Attitude – or more correctly, Evaluation – is everything! Evaluations both reflect and determine our most basic inclinations to approach and avoid interaction with our environment.

In the Social Evaluation Laboratory at UCSB, we study the social antecedents and social consequences of forming and changing evaluations of objects, ideas, others, even ourselves.
