Margaret Hayes is a fourth year honors student pursuing a B.S. in Biopsychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. After researching computational cognitive neuroscience in the Ashby Lab during her junior year, she joined the Jacobs Lab in Fall 2018 to conduct her senior honors thesis. Her research will focus on the effects of synthetic hormone administration in the form of oral contraceptive use on the human brain. She is passionate about advancing public health and plans to continue onto graduate school with a focus on clinical psychology. In her spare time, Maggie loves to go hiking, beachcombing, and sailing.
