Biography

I began my education at East Los Angeles College, before transferring to UC Davis, where I developed a strong interest in psychological research. In 2021, I started working with Dr. Shelly Gable at UCSB. In my spare time I enjoy reading novels, painting landscapes, and going on walks with my pet bird Clover. 

Research Area

My research focuses on interpersonal emotion regulation, close relationships, health, and culture. I am particularly interested in how emotion regulation strategies, in different cultures, impact close relationships and health.
