M.A. - Psychological and Brain Sciences - U.C, Santa Barbara
I was born in southern California, but grew up in central New Jersey. I received my BA in psychology from Oberlin College in OH in 2014. While at Oberlin I worked as a research assistant with various professors on topics such as children’s social networks, homophily, academic and social goals, and word aversion. I then spent a year working as a lab manager in the lab of Professor Travis Wilson where I continued working on a long term longitudinal study examining children’s social networks and social and academic goals from multiple perspectives. I am currently a graduate student at UCSB in the labs of my co-mentors Dr. Shelly Gable and Dr. Nancy Collins.
My research interests include emotion, close relationships, well-being, and meaning in life.
