Greg Ashby was recognized for his numerous theoretical and empirical contributions, when he received the prestigious 2017 Howard Crosby Warren Medal by the Society of Experimental Psychologists (SEP). The Warren Medal, which is the oldest award in Psychology, is given "for the most significant research contribution in experimental psychology in [the United States] or Canada within the last 5 years."
